Flop Show - Bloggers meet

There was an article in the newspaper that there was a Blogger's meet arranged by some one named Tarun, in Delhi.. Yeah, thats the same city I live in - fortunately or unfortunately.

He had arranged a big place in Saket expecting hundreds of people to arrive. Lot' s of arrangements made. Tons and tons of expectations!!

But, guess what? Only 4 people arrived. Man! That was shocking, even to me. Guess! what would have happened of the poor soul. He has gone nuts, read about him at his blog - here

I came to know about it from the newspaper only.

If you want to know more about it - read this

Interesting......

I have read about the whole fiasco before too. I don't know what to say or who to believe here. I don't think blogging community of India is mature enough to have such big meets anyways. It's just a good way to make and meet friends...

Maybe one of the reasons I had gone nuts, is because like the newspaper article, your brain doesn't seem to absorb what you see or read.

I had NOT booked a place in Saket. I booked it in South Ex.

The name of the place is Barista.

I had only booked it for 6 people, not a lot of bloggers.

This is the exact reason that me, and everybody else at that meet got pissed off. Because the TOI misreported everything, and then people like you who acually think the TOI tells the truth would believe it. If you had spent even 2 seconds on my blog, you would have noticed the simple mistakes you have made in your post about what happened. But I'm not annoyed with you because you are a mere blogger, passing the time.

A newspaper is supposed to be held to a higher standard, but obviously, with people like you siding with the newspaper, it is to be expected that the standard for that newspaper will be low.

Believe it or not, sometimes people like to hear the truth spoken about them. Would it be okay with you if I went to my blog right now and wrote that you are a closet homosexual? I wonder, how 'maturely' would you take it?
